I'm not willing to upgrade my module since it otherwise works ok. If Sirius wasn't built in, I'd probably use my i Phone and stream. It was one of my faves so I'll be complaining or voting to bring it back. The audio quality on the aftermarket Siruis radio seems to be much better than the built in version on the newer car, which sounds very compressed at times.I did see "updating" this morning for the first time with the tech, but no dice for me... If Sirius wasn't built in, I'd probably use my i Phone and stream. I'm tired of talking to non-English speaking techs, where I know more about computers than they do. They read a script and don't understand that those channels do not appear, although the other changes took effect. BTW, I'm upset they stopped channel 75, the classical POPS, one of 3 channels I actually listen to. I added a Sirius radio to my C70 on July 18th but after finishing the installation I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting #75 (Pops). After days of frustration, they said the Sirius unit in the 2008 c70 is not capable of accepting new added channels because it's a first generation unit. I want to know if anyone in MY 08 has successfully added 55 and 57. I told them to disassociate my ESN with my account and start over. They could do away with alot of channels dedicated to one singer or a band that no one cares about in thirty years! After searching their website I realized they'd dropped it, sure enough it was gone in my S60 (built in Sirius XM) too.The radio cannot be updated to accept new channels.I have his email if you want to see the exact explanation to me. In fact, I have been in touch with several other people who are having the exact same issue, not with a Volvo but with VW's.It was one of my faves so I'll be complaining or voting to bring it back.
I'm sure you don't get Channel 57 either, nor do I get 11 or 12. I've had several open tickets with Sirius Product Support or Care Dept., and I had Volvo check for me.
The last person said I need to go to Volvo and check for radio software updates. Volvo Service Advantage is supposed to do that anyways when you take your car in for service.
S60RPackages: Premium, Climate Options: Sport Appearance Package, 18" Pegs, 6Spd Geartronic, Navigation Accessories: Sunglasses holder, Sirius Radio, Volvo Digital Jukebox Mods: SS DEM Mod "Just say no to LV VIN codes"I can't get 11 12, or 55 (haven't checked for 57) I have a 2008 C30 but I suspect the radio modules are the same.
Howard 100 and Howard 101 are two uncensored channels on Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio, two satellite radio services that broadcast programming affiliated with Howard Stern and The Howard Stern Show.
Though the channels were first broadcast on September 29, 2005, Stern could not officially broadcast until January 1, 2006, as Stern was still at WXRK, the terrestrial radio station where he had to finish his FM radio contract.
